Stocking Stuffers

In my family, we always begin our Christmas morning by opening our stockings. I still remember waking up on Christmas morning when I was a child, and my brother and I would just sit in front of our stockings trying to figure out what was in there and (not so patiently) waiting until our parents gave us permission to open the stockings.
I know there are many different traditions surrounding stockings, but here are some general rules I use for buying stocking stuffers:
- They shouldn't be too expensive. While I don't use an exact pricing range for purchasing these gifts, I generally believe that they should be less expensive than any of the gifts under your tree.
- Have a mix of practical and fun gifts!
- You don't have to bother wrapping stocking stuffers. The way I look at it, the stocking is the wrapping. There is no need to spend extra time wrapping all those little gifts. Focus your wrapping efforts on the gifts under the tree.
