For the last few weeks, I have been balancing my new full-time job, Kat's Print Boutique, my Interior Design Course, and other extra things I have taken on. While I have taken breaks whenever family visits or when I went to my friends wedding, there are some days (or multiple days in a row) where I haven't really had a break. Most days I'm doing stuff for Kat's Print Boutique or the course I'm taking during my lunch hour!
Last week I had one day where I kinda of broke. I got so stressed out trying to finish something that night, which in turn made it take even longer. I knew that stressing out about it was pointless, but that doesn't make it any easier to turn it off.

The next day I got home from work, sat down and relaxed. I realized that I needed to take that evening off. I needed a little downtime.
By the end of my work week last week, I was drained. Normally when I am working on something, whether it be at my new job or Kat's Print Boutique, I don't feel how tired I am. I become so focused on what I am doing that I don't think about how tired I am. At the end of last week though, I had trouble focusing on work because I was so tired (now I will say, I did also have a really bad sleep at the beginning of last week, so that didn't really help.
Since then, I have really been thinking about what I need to do to focus on taking care of myself while still running Kat's Print Boutique, taking the Interior Design Course and working full-time. Don't worry though! Kat's Print Boutique isn't going anywhere! I am going to be taking a step back in some of the other extra things that I take on. I'm learning just how important it is to say no when you really don't have any extra time to get something done.
Instead of those things, I will be taking time to relax and hang out with friends and family. Just last night I saw Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again! (And for those of you who haven't seen it yet, go! It's SO good!). Maybe I'll even go and see it again ;).
